The first edition of Dr. Ray Howell's book, "The Crazy Kolinskis," sold out. A second printing has been completed, and books are available at the church office and local stores.

Friday, May 16. Depart church on bus (Phil Rector, driver) at 11:30 a.m. and return by 3:30 p.m. Food and pastries cost $5 for salad or sandwich and $10 for a plate lunch. tours of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Winston-Salem occur every 30 minutes. Musicians will perform. Gift items will be available for purchase. Grace Episcopal Church's Faith and Arts Committee is sponsoring the trip. Contact the First Baptist office at 249-9158 to make a reservation.

Vacation Bible School for 2-year-olds through fifth grade will be July 13-17. The theme is "Son World Adventure Park VBS." Kerry Shea Penland, Kristin Wall and Michelle Walser will serve as co-directors. Anyone willing to participate as a teacher or volunteer can contact one of them or the Rev. Tommy Wilson at 249-9158.

May 19-22, "My Old Kentucky Home." Ray Howell and Phil Rector will lead a trip to Kentucky. A $125 deposit is required.

Saturday, May 31, 7-11 a.m., rain or shine, Fellowship Hall. Church members can donate "saleable" quality items for the sale, sponsored by the Family Matters Sunday School Class. Contact  Michelle Walser at 248-2719 or 240-0100  for pick up of large items. Coffee, orange juice and sausage biscuits will be for sale.
