First Baptist will observe Commitment 2010.  "Arise and Shine" is the theme for 2010. FBC will also celebrate communion this week with a sermon from Dr. Ray Howell III titled "By God's Decision." The scriptures are Isaiah 60: 1 - 5 and Ephesians 1: 1 - 10. Listen to the service at 11 a.m. on WLXN.

This Wednesday Family Night , First Baptist will hold their quarterly meeting. Several important decisions will be addressed and voted on for the following church year. The LISTEN Team will present findings from the many interviews and meetings held in the past months.

 The cost of the meal is $5 for adults, $3 for children under 12 with a $17 family limit. Take-out meals cost $1 extra per plate. Reservation cards are available in Sunday school classes and the sanctuary for permanent and weekly reservations. Weekly reservations should be made by noon Monday and can also be done by sending an e-mail to libby@fbclex.org or calling the Information Line at 249-3224.
