Sept. 5

First Baptist Church will celebrate the 15th Sunday after Pentecost. The Rev. Tommy Wilson will continue with his Summer Sermon Series of the Seven Sins with a sermon titled "Sloth."  The scriptures are Proverbs 12:23, Matthew 21: 28-31 and Revelation 3:15-16. Sept. 5 bulletin

Family Night Activities will resume at 5:45 p.m. Sept. 15 with the opening celebration marking the 25th Anniversary of Family Night. The Bahama Mamas will entertain. The regular schedule will begin Sept. 22.

The cost of the meal is $5 for adults, $3 for children under 12 with a $17 family limit. Take-out meals cost $1 extra per plate. Reservation cards are available in Sunday school classes and the sanctuary for permanent and weekly reservations. Weekly reservations should be made by noon Monday and can also be done by sending an e-mail to libby@fbclex.org or calling the Information Line at 249-3224.
