First Baptist will celebrate the Fourth Sunday in Lent this Sunday. Dr. Ray Howell III will deliver the first of the Lenten Sermon Series: The Church. This Sunday the sermon title will be "The Gift of Unity."  The scriptures are Joshua 24: 14 - 18 and Ephesians 4: 11 - 16. Listen to the service at 11 a.m. on WLXN.

First Baptist Church will continue the five weeks of the Spring Academy. Drs. Ted Chandler and Ray Morrow will host a session titled "Dare To Be A Healthy Christian," Judy LeCroy will present "Nooma Videos," and Virginia Flippin will host the "Prayer Shawl Ministry."

The cost of the meal is $5 for adults, $3 for children under 12 with a $17 family limit. Take-out meals cost $1 extra per plate. Reservation cards are available in Sunday school classes and the sanctuary for permanent and weekly reservations.
